🚔 OP AVRO - Your local neighbourhood team taking action in Salford

Good afternoon residents, 

You may have noticed a large police presence in the Salford area yesterday and this was thanks to OP AVRO. Operation AVRO is Greater Manchester Police's dedicated day of action to tackle issues that matter most to you. 

Op AVRO brought together neighbourhood policing teams, specialist units and partner agencies to focus on crime prevention, enforcement, and community reassurance in areas that you as the community highlighted as a concern. Operations like AVRO are about more than enforcement, they're about listening to you, being visible and taking the necessary action.
